Dismantling of a Giant Forging Press in Plzeň – 13,000 Tons of Power

Protech Motors proudly presents the completion of one of the most demanding projects in our history – the dismantling of a forging press with a pressing force of 13,000 tons at an industrial plant in Plzeň (Czech Republic).
The total weight of this impressive machine was 2,162,833 kg, including:

• Slide: 243,504 kg
• Columns: 107,127 kg
• Base: 306,724 kg

Project Scope:

The dismantling process was carried out in stages and included:

• Professional anti-corrosion protection of steel components,
• Packaging using wooden supports and complete coverage with tarpaulins,
• Loading onto trucks and preparation for further transport.
